Day 2

After awaking slightly groggy than expected I soon felt the excitement of riding and headed to the Lake to show Adam about. We had an epic day riding today and also managed to hike elevator shaft and get some rather nice freshies! (photo) We had a little bit of snow, but nothing amazing so rode the park in the afternoon. Super fun as always.

So rather than drive to Fernie and miss time on the hill we headed there straight from the lake. A solid 4 hours wasnt bad! It was a beautiful drive and I was amazed at the change in climate as we arrived in BC. Radium to Canal Flats didnt even have any snow!

We arrived in Fernie and met up with my good friend Charlie who we proceeded to have a fun night with. Maybe a bit too much fun... again!! Industry jug night, and I introduced Adam to pouteen. Marathon training officially out the window this week!
