STOLLERS

A busy day today.  Preparing the old Ercol suite to be taken away.  It is a sad farewell to it as we must  have had it now for 35 years.  The wood base on both the 3 seater sofa and chairs are still in great nick, but it has already been upholstered once and it cost a fortune, so this time we decided it was too bit for our current place and have gone for a completely new greys and silver fabric two seater sofa and two chairs.

Stollers advised last night that they would be here late afternoon, so hubby decided mid morning to go and fill up my car for me for going back to Mum's tomorrow, and typically, 2 or 3 minutes after he'd goner Stoller's turn up.  

They were very efficient as usual, and all was done within 30 minutes.  In fact hubby got back just after they'd left!!!

Now re-arranging the furniture .  Then packing, wrapping up birthday presents for folk who have birthdays whilst I'm at Mums.

It was announced on the news today that people are being asked to take a lateral flow test before coming up to The Lakes because the virus is on the up here again.  Why is anyone surprised, the sheer volume of visitors, with no idea who has been innoculated or not.  I'm sure there must be other places in the UK the same. 

Anyway a lovely bright flower for a lovely bright day.
