Jostling......
We encountered a field of young curious cows on our walk today. They mooed their way across the field and followed us to the stile. I loved the way they were all jostling for position to be at the front to get a good view of us, but not really wanting to get too close. There was a lot of sniffing and even the occasional slobbery tongue!
Our walk route was a made-up one. We started at Silverdale Country Park. We made our way from there to the village of Madeley via Finney Green. We skirted around the edge of Betley ad as we reached Keele Village we noticed the local pub was open. Well, it would have been rude not to. So we stopped for much needed refreshment and nibbles. We then returned to our starting point.
I was flagging a little after trudging through field after field and getting prickled and nettled many times, but the cider at the Sneyd Arms made up for that. And another 10ish miles completed.
