The Navigation Warehouse reflected

... in the River Calder.  We'd arranged a family get together for today, starting out at The Hepworth Gallery, before we walked up into Wakefield City Centre to view the Earth exhibition in the Cathedral.  Unfortunately none of us had checked to see if the Hepworth was open today (it wasn't). but the large view of Earth suspended from the ceiling of the Cathedral gave us a very different view to the ones we see on Google Earth or on the small globes we sometimes have access to.  It made us realise how very far north the UK is on the globe as we couldn't see our part of Europe as we looked up from the ground.   I'll add a photo from my phone into extra.

p.s. I also did a limited amount of flower photography in The Hepworth Garden but I still need to sort them out.
