Dorset’s hidden chapel

We had a fine walk in Dorset countryside to this very special place - Lyscombe. There are no roads so it can only be approached by walking. It is absolutely charming, mellow brick work, brand new thatched roof and inside remnants from its medieval past. It was renovated in 2007 and stands by the side of the ruins of a small cottage. Beautiful.
