The Beauty Of Glass

Hi there everyone. I hope you have all had a good day.
I am afraid that My Son Dominic (Father to my Twin Grandchildren) Is not very well at all. We think he has Covid. He has had all the symptoms. He was worse towards the end of last week. As you know, Dominic works for Security, and he worked at Boardmasters in Newquay. He was fine before the event. He is always doing tests, and he had one just before he went to work there, which was negative, or they wouldn't have let him work. Anyone who follows the news will know that There have been a lot of positive cases from Boardmasters., so it doesn't surprise me that he could have contracted it.. Not long after the event, he started to feel ill. Coughing a lot, sweating, shivers, Headaches, aches and pains etc, and a really bad sore throat, and loss of taste. Obviously I am not seeing him at the moment, as I daren't risk it. However, I have popped a couple of cooked dinners and a few supplies up to him. I ring the doorbell, and My grandson usually answers the door. I then leave the bags on the doorstop. We have been in touch by phone though. The Dr has put him on Anti biotics and steroids. Hopefully this will help him. It could have been much worse if he hadn't had both Vaccinations, as he suffers with asthma. I think he may be on the last stages of it now though.....fingers crossed! I got a Lateral flow test for myself and Barry. I have never had a test since the Pandemic began, as I haven't needed to. I did mine tonight for the 1st time, and boy, was it difficult to swab your tonsils without your tongue touching the swab!. My result was Negative. I just hope I did it right. I will probably do Barry's tomorrow. I am sure we are both ok though.
Anyhow, this entry today is of part of my glass fruit bowl. I thought it would make a nice shot, as the light was glinting through it.
