From the Top

Whilst Annie and Immy had a relaxed morning at our cottage, I had a walk up to an elevated view of Chesil beach and Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland. The weather was fab, warm but not so hot you didn’t want a climb. At the top I found the Tout Quarry sculpture and nature reserve which was fascinating. I returned to the cottage for a late lunch before we drove out to Swanage for a couple of hours on the beach with some friends who are also having a holiday in the area. Annie and Immy had a swim in the sea.

We sampled the local Chinese takeaway for dinner, very good it was too.

We head Home tomorrow after a fab few days in Dorset.
