Grantown - Scots pine woods

We spent the day in these amazing woods.
J has great memories of staying with his Grandparents up here as child and spending days running and cycling through along these beautiful paths
The sun shone all day - 23° in the afternoon and a bit too hot for us . But we have really enjoyed long walks and a picnic by the river Spey.
A lovely day.
Extra collage of amazing fungi in the wood . Unfortunately I couldn't get a photograph of the fairy ring champignons I think they are called.
I need to do some research about these.
