A Child's Eyes
This is a cheese vat, and it isn't as big as it appears here. To a small child, this is the swimming hole where he learned to swim, or maybe a giant lake where he could float his tiny boats. This child's eye view, of the cheese vat, really makes it seem huge, doesn't it. It is pretty big, but certainly smaller than it looks from this angle.
Life is so much like that. Our initial exposure to things can make them seem so much larger than life, but as we grow, they end up falling into perspective and seem so much more manageable.
This looks like a sea that someone could drown in. Tomorrow, if the light allows, I'll photograph it from an adult's perspective.
