Wow - what a tree

A day out of the county today. Met up with Richard and Juliet at Blackwater arboretum in the new forest. We were blown away by the beauty of the trees and especially these giant redwoods planted in 1850. Walked on our own and with R&J. Had a picnic in the forest and then went into Brockenhurst for coffee and cake. We did another forest walk before driving home. Great to catch up with them in such a lovely place.
