Sparkling, clear waters

A variation on my running route today took me alongside the Wairarapa stream with its stunningly clear water. This stream is one of several that eventually feed into the Avon River before it winds through Christchurch CBD. As a child many years ago I used to go trout fishing there (only kids were allowed), no trout today.
