Graveyard

I love wandering around old graveyards, looking at the gravestones.
Wondering about the people buried there, what their lives were like.
This one, Victora Grace Vale, died in 1903 aged 53.
Also buried with her are 7 children.  Life was clearly hard in the 1800s.
Another has 2 brothers who died on the same day in 1864 aged 21 and 25.

So many stories, long forgotten - until you stop and read, and then for at least a moment they are not forgotten.
