I sniffed

and my mood instantly lifted from feeling miserable to what does it matter.
I went to the dentist for late morning appointment to find it had been cancelled - this is the third time this year. I was a little (greatly) concerned that the receptionist dealing with me had a constant cough so much so it made her eyes run. She apologized and grabbed a water bottle. There was a screen between us as she did not have a mask,fortunately I did.
