Canine Perambulations +
2:30pm.The dog wanted out to bark at things (other dogs, people, playground equipment and sometimes nothing at all). The view from the top of the hill was lovely, not a cloud in the sky. We walked down the hill and back up again. 3:00pm The river was shrouded in a dense fog bank. Blippertunity! I bundled the dog into the car and raced home to get the big camera.
Arrived home to find Mrs FP flapping about in the garden, she had just run the lawnmower through a ground wasps nest. They were not pleased. I was despatched to get a can of some noxious substance that would annoy them even more.
"But...fog bank..." I said.
Anyway, after getting the aerosol I rushed ("Rushed?" I hear you ask. "you drive an eighteen year old land rover defender!" Point taken.) to St Queensferry to the three Forth bridges ( know, it gets me too). A snap was snapped and within a few minutes (4:00pm) the fog bank just disappeared. You'd never have known it had been. Phew.
Seen this phenomenon a few times.
