Every eight years

... almost to the day!

Another beautiful, hot day and clocked up 70 active minutes, well over 11,000 steps, and got 9/9 of my hourly Fitbit target steps: the best I've achieved for
/2872966429546647494]Jersey Tiger Moth - and, not counting yesterday, saw my first Magpie Moth (Abraxas grossulariata) for eight years. In fact, I saw no fewer than four today, so they had to be blipped (one in Extras, too). To be precise, the first Magpie Moth I ever saw - and blipped - was one day short of eight years ago, on 26th August 2013 - when, incidentally, I had (at that stage undiagnosed) whooping cough!
