Year 2 Day 155 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 259 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

We set off just after 9.30am to visit my aunty in Rode, Somerset as my uncle is terminally ill and in care with only my aunty and her daughter allowed to visit. It was a visit to catch up on news and offer support.

The journey home was tedious with the canal bridge at Bradford Upon Avon suddenly shut, and the M4 really busy until we turned off at Chesptow for the Wye Valley, from which it is a lovely run home.

Today's W-I-D-E on Wednesday theme is 'The Weather With You'. Getting home this evening the sun had gone and the sky dull. The blipfoto is the field near our house looking over Goodrich Village towards Coppett Hill. I hope the farmer gets his bales in before the rain!
