Paying Respects
Funeral in town at lunchtime. Since the pandemic the customs have changed and people line the route of the funeral processions. Standing silently, some making the sign of the cross as the coffin passes. Tourists on the other hand, chatting or quietly curious, and that strange figure in black trousers, black mask and woolly hat. Like a West Cork hippy Angel of Death, searching for the next one.
