David Stirling

This statue honours the memory of Colonel Sir David Stirling DSO, OBE, founder of the SAS. It's an impressive piece of sculpture by Angela Conner in a lovely location. The laced boots, toggled duffel coat and binoculars, the face too, all look good to my eye.
