Pipit on a rock.

I was up with the lark this morning (quite normal) sank a cup of tea, snuck into my tri-suit and bimbled over to Westward Ho for a short swim. With high tide and a very light north easterly breeze the sea was very calm and pleasantly warm.
As I dried off in the sun I heard a Rock pipit calling from nearby, I mimicked it’s song and it answered from much nearer. We chatted to each other for a minute or so before it dashed off across the slipway.
A fairly uneventful journey home before breakfast and continuing with the house painting.
