Kitchen planning

Had a restless night so was pleased that Mr PHL was on point to take Phin to doggy daycare this morning whilst I had a little bit of a lie in.

We had an appointment this morning at a large home supplies retailer to discuss kitchen planning. The planner was a lovely young chap called Chris and was very patient with us. Our appointment was for 2 hours but we finally finished a little over 3 hours after walking in. As we’d already had a quote from another supplier we knew pretty much what we wanted. Also to tell the truth we’ve been planning a kitchen renovation for the last 10 years!

There’s a sale coming up and as our builder has a trade account, if we do go ahead we should get between 15-18% off the base price. Early indications are that the quote will come in about 2/3rds cheaper than the previous one. It will require Mr PHL to build the units but he’s looking forward to that challenge.
