Little Egret

A path we walk fairly frequently is going to be closed for at least 8 weeks from next week as they will be working on the next stage of the local river restoration project, a project with a budget of £15 million. They are going to start clearing vegetation. We decided to walk the path as part of a circuit which ended at the mouth of the river where we spotted this little egret. Earlier at the bridge we had watched more swallows than we have ever seen ducking and diving under and over the bridge.
