A six?
The palisades we have placed until now look to be forming a six. But that's because we are only half-way. At the right hand side of what is going to be a circle will start another row of palisades. They will give some halt to the lower part of the slope.
At the left hand side you see the first step of a small stair. The top of the terrace is about half a metre lower than the path behind the palisades. So we will create two steps to bridge this difference.
What looks like a hand of a clock is actually a stick/lath on a pole. The pole is in the middle of the circle, and with the stick we can keep the palisades at the same distance from the axis.
The weather will be rainy the next days; not good for work on a clay soil, so we will have a break till early next week.
