Herm

We decided to visit Herm for lunch today. Initially we were going to take a friend from the campsite. She’s 87 and has been coming camping at La Bailloterie for over 50 years. Unfortunately, she tripped up some steps on Sunday and hurt her toes, so she didn’t feel comfortable with the walking that a trip to Herm would involve. Undeterred, we went anyway and ascertained that they do cater for people with mobility issues, so we are on for next year. Mum and I had a lovely few hours. The sun came out and we had a ridiculously large lunch at the Mermaid. We did share the bucket of ice cream!
