Fresh air

Dom was in a horrible mood when I picked the kids up from school this afternoon. "don't start mum, I'm not up for it today" was how I was greeted! Slowly and gently I got to the bottom of it- seems a project partner was not listening to his ideas and despite negotiation attempts and a suggested 50/50 contribution his suggestions were still dismissed. In the end he went and sat in the corner and told the friend to finish the project herself! He was deeply offended by her, he is always keen to contribute and has worked very hard to not be too pushy with his opinions of what is best. A trip to he park helped, skateboarding down the big hill, driving his remote control car up the skate ramp and a short play on the playground made us all feel happier, ready for the weekend.
