Eat out to pig out
To the Peat Inn for dinner. We were due to have lunch there seven days ago as part of Mrs Rex's birthday celebrations but they stopped doing lunches due to staff shortages, so dinner it was. This is what remains of my duck with madeira sauce, stuffed cabbage leaf and pea croquette, (who knew there was such a thing). There were three other courses but they were gone in no time too and all finished off with a Pedro Ximenez Barbadillo sherry for Mrs Rex and Harviestoun's Wheesht alcohol free dark ale for me.
Guess who was driving home.
