Abstract - minimalist

Many years ago I was involved in the planning for an English Teachers conference.

We had to design a logo and tagline. As the conference was held in Nelson, the geographic center of New Zealand, we incorporated a book and a compass with the tagline "latitude and literature'.

I figured our logo (printed here on a canvas conference bag) qualified for minimalism today.
