Walter Sisulu

Walter Sisulu was a South African anti-apartheid activist. He was incarcerated at Robben Island, where he served more than 25 years imprisonment.

This bust is mounted in the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens, where we spent an enjoyable morning bird watching. We managed to record in excess of 50 species.
