There's Always Room For Cake

It's my birthday next week but I decided a few months back that rather than spend it in my home town I'd spend it dog sledding in Mongolia, mostly because its something I've been wanting to do for a couple of years, but there may have been an element of hiding from the fact this birthday puts me as close to 40 as to 30.....a scary thought! I may be another year older and wiser, but I'm still not ready to settle down and act like a responsible adult!

My lovely friends were having non of it though and in a pre-birthday birthday celebration thoroughly spoilt me with great company, cheese and wine, prezzies and cake.
