New Runcorn Bridge

We are now on the Wirral peninsula for the next couple of days to see a few places. Starting today with the two bridges that cross the River Mersey. This is the new bridge completed in 2017 - very elegant with its sweeping lines over the estuary. The central part looks like yacht sails from a distance; we were impressed. The older Jubilee bridge opened in 1961 although recently renovated with a smart coat of paint. Extras of this and the lighthouse at New Brighton.
We are now enduring terrible noise from an outdoor party close to our current camp site. Very loud 'music' with the only consolation being the whole neighborhood is similarly suffering.
