Blood lab waiting room
Today I had to go to the lab in the hospital to have my bi-annual blood test (sugar levels and cholesterol) I had my blip all planned but it didn't quite happen for two reasons. I was going to take a shot of the nurse putting the needle in my arm and taking my blood, I had prepared my left arm by rolling up my sleeve and had even practiced taking some shots with my 18mm lens, only to discover that they had changed the layout of the room and now the nurse station was on the right hand side and therefore almost impossible for me (being right handed) to take a blip on that side. The second stumbling block came when instead of the usual 70 year old male nurse entering the room a very young & pretty female nurse entered declaring that she would be taking my blood as her colleague was off sick! I didn't wasn't her to think that I was trying to come on to her by asking if I could take some photos so I have decided to wait until September when hopefully the usual unattractive nurse will be back (not that I would be particularly upset if he was still off sick!!)
Luckily I had this blip which I had taken (in the very orange) waiting area.
