Dartmoor Base Calling!!!

After a busy morning at home, we got away just after lunch and drove down here through wind and rain but not as bad as we thought it would be. All well here except that the bird feeders were nearly empty, they were all filled on Monday afternoon, so that was one of the first jobs. Sometimes this feeder is torn down and left in the middle of the lawn. We are not sure it its the squirrel or perhaps the woodpecker!

The Wray Brook that runs across the field has overflown but will not cause us any trouble.

As I sit here I can hear the rain beating off the windows but never mind, we are snug and warm.
