Ashbourne

I’ve blipped this lovely Derbyshire town before (usually when I’ve been to my dentist. I was too scared of dentists to change practices when I moved town, and I still am.)

There always seems to be bunting.
The shops seem to be re opening after the ghost town feeling during lockdown.

I love the old houses and varied architecture.
I love the wonderful fishmonger’s shop (sort of on the right here)
I love the famous gingerbread, but the old shop has long gone.

It’s a friendly place. Just a lovely traditional place.

And the church is well worth a visit if you’re passing.
