Pony in flower meadow
I’ve blipped this Carneddau mare before - earlier this month in fact. Last time, it was through a soft-focus veil of yellow flowers, but today, her head is down, munching away at the flower meadow - or at least all that’s left at this tail-end of summer. I think the flowers are predominantly fleabane, with a sprinkling of purple spikes that might be loosestrife - but I’m really not an expert and would welcome confirmation or correction!
Maybe I’m stretching it a bit , but this is my Flower Friday entry - doubling up as one for Wildflower Week.
