Ladybird And Tablecloth!
Hi there everyone. Another beautiful day!
I have been very busy today (What's new!) I went out into the garden and pruned the Ceanothus, as it was starting to take over! I then went round the side of the house, by the fence, and did the back of it too.. I did quite a lot in the back garden, and my back was aching by the time I had finished..
After I had had a cup of coffee, I then did something that I have meant to do for ages. That was to put more bark down to stop the weeds growing through. It had become quite thin in places. Of course, that meant weeding first! I have never put bark down before, as Barry used to do it. However, he just can't do any sort of gardening, or even help with cleaning anymore....bless him! He hates to see me having to do everything. I said to him, that he can't help it. It isn't as though he is Lazy. His breathing with COPD stops him from doing these things. I think I need to get another bag of bark though, as there isn't quite enough.
Whilst I was pruning the tree, I noticed a ladybird on one of the branches that I had cut off. I carefully put the branch, with the ladybird indoors, so I could take a photo. I didn't have time to get the macro lens out, as she was already off the branch and onto my tablecloth.. I was worried she might fly away. Anyhow, I did manage to get this very quick one. I then took the Ladybird, complete with branch outside, and settled her once again into the tree, Well, that's my day sorted. We had some dinner and I am now relaxing with a nice glass of wine.
Thank you for following me. Take care.
Love Theresa x
PS; The extra is when the Ladybird decided to climb on my fruit bowl.
