Beautiful bendy Regent Street

Had a great day out in London today. The purpose was to go to see "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time". Wow! I have never been so high up "in the gods" as I was at the Apollo theatre but it was a wonderful view. I can highly recommend this adaptation of Mark Haddon's brilliant book about a young teenager on the autistic spectrum. (Try lastminute.com - we got tickets for just £12 each!).

This is a view of Regent Street - such a magnificent sight from Picadilly Circus which is very close to the theatre.

Beforehand, we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and were reminiscing that we hadn't been there for 37 years - since our days as London Uni students! Then, by chance, we were served by Gloria who has worked there for 38 years so could have possibly served us last time around!
