Lovely Walk

Mr D is dog sitting while our mum and dad are off cruising round far off Scottish Islands.
We met at Stoke Woods this morning and had a fantastic walk with Archie, Elsie and River. They’re such a pack!!
I kept trying to get a decent photo of Elsie to send to mum but it proved tricky!!
I did get a hilarious video of her and Archie charging off out of sight like loons and then back again at 100mph. So funny!
After a couple of hours I said goodbye to Mr D and headed home for a quick cup of tea before taking Miss E up to Sheffield to stay with her friend Miss M who’s moved back from Portugal.
Miss E was devastated when Miss M first of all left to go to a different school and then back to Portugal. They were proper little soulmates.
They've only been back in the country a few days so it was lovely that Miss E got to go up so soon.
The journey up was really quick. Luckily they live this side of Sheffield, not far from Chesterfield so it was an easy journey.
After a few cups of tea and a lovely catch up with Mrs C, Mr C and Miss S it was time to head back down the M1. Miss E and Miss M had already gone out to get some provisions from Sainsbury’s!
The journey home was painless. But seemed to take forever, my back and neck were killing me by the time I got home at 9pm
It’s been a quiet night. Miss L is at Miss E’s for a sleepover tonight so we’re empty nesters!!! Very odd!
