Sorry chicklet for nicking your theme for a day - my cycle route passes through the construction site of the Eglinton Viaduct and it came to mind.

I'm ambivalent about the M74. I can't raise sufficient anger to oppose it, since the plans have been around for so long and much of the fine things it has obliterated went long, long ago. This blip should actually be of Alexander Thomson's finest tenement building (this one), but that went ialmost 3 decades ago in 1980.

But then again the motorway is going to be a bit of an eyesore because so much of it is elevated - a giant millipede through the south side. My blips will inevitably return to its progress over time.
