bushy park

We decided to go to bushy park this morning. We didnt think we would get parked as it was 8:30 and the park run was on but our surprise there was quite a bit of parking. I am guessing not everyone is back doing the run.
Took a slow walk across to the leg of mutton pond and was surprised to see two clutches of young  moorhen. This is fallen tree from many years ago I suspect from the storm of 1987. which I have watch change over the years. I have pictures of a couple of years ago with the grand children sitting on a branch which is no longer there, It has changed very much over the last 18 months. See extra
We met another photographer who introduced herself from a fb page called 'she clicks ' and invited me to join. it. It was her second visit to Bushy and she was hooked! just blown away by the wildlife.
sorry for lack of visiting the week and comments but i just have been a tad busy
yesterday was our seniors rendevous at church which took up most of the day. we did lunch in a box which they really appreciated. the whole time (10:30-2) was very low key with only 30 people instead of the normal 50. It was really great to see one lady so excited and animated to be there as it was her first time out in 18 months.. We really dont appreciate how it has been for our older folk the last year and half.
I also received 2 out of 3 cardiology appoints yesterday so things are moving
Have a good weekend folks. I will try to catch up with comments etc
