Birds, at last!

Sunny Saturday morning walk around the reservoir.
I was very happy to see and capture some bird snaps for my Blip, they have been few and far between recently!
Two herons today, usually just the one, and they were sitting beautifully for me to take their photo then one at a time they flew off across the water, lovely to see. 
Then as we were almost leaving, I spotted a cormorant sitting next to a metal construction that I have always liked, something to do with lifting perhaps?
