`Hollyhocks by the canal’

We spent a beautiful day pruning shrubs, adding cameras to the motorbike and walking along the canal in Stroud.  There are many wild flowers and established trees that contrast beautifully with the cotswold stone walls.
Stroud was very prominent in the textile trade at one time and the mills can still be seen along the canal.
