GIGANTIC vs Tiny

Two things from our morning walk.

1. An enormous horse fly that was bothering our friends - the horses to whom we bring carrots every morning. I swatted at it and it landed on the fence. So I grabbed a chance to take a quick picture before suggesting that it move along and leave our friends alone.

2. The smallest mushrooms I've seen recently. Really really tiny mushrooms. Seek says they are "collared parachute" mushrooms, and I have to say I agree.
