Dominic and the Binoculars

Today's the day ...................... to watch the birds

We took Dominic today to the Red Kite Feeding Station at Bellymack Hill Farm near Lauriston.

Being a great lover of all feathered creatures, you can imagine how exciting it was for him to watch dozens of these magnificent birds assemble at the allotted time, swooping and diving with effortless ease to pick up the scraps put out for them.  He didn't need those binoculars - and in fact I'm not sure he could see anything much with them at all?!  It was all happening right in front of us.

There were quite a few keen photographers there with their big lenses as you can see from the first extra.  The second one is just a bit of fun inside the relaxed and welcoming centre ...................!
