Banana protest

Saw a red arrow flying around this morning

Got the tram to Fleetwood and walked on the beach which was super soft sand in places

I enjoyed a pudding, gravy and chips in Cleveleys

Had a pint in The Venue which is a seafront pub kind of thing

Had a good look at some of the resting illuminations which had been placed at ground level for once, this one needs no introduction!

Called in to The Bispham Hotel for a quick half whilst waiting for the number 3 bus. It’s an amazing pub for its Art Deco interior.

There is definitely an alleged difference of opinion between the landlord and regulars from what we heard whilst standing at the bar. Apparently some people have been barred for using their phones (according to Google reviews) and whilst we were there someone threw half a banana in the pub doorway. As we left someone asked me how busy it was inside and suggested a visit to an alternative pub! Interesting times!
