The Blue Door

I'm not exactly sure what it is about doors and windows but I'm drawn to taking pictures of them. Perhaps they represent a metaphor (I've been accused of living my life in metaphor) of choice and opportunity, or perhaps because of all the stories that are hidden there just beyond our reach. For whatever the reason I've taken a lot of these images over the years and whenever I revisit them they always make me smile.
