A lunchtime drink
The blue tits were busy today, emptying the peanut feeder near to the pond and water feature. After we had removed the dead weigela and replaced it with another, plus a shepherds crook to hold the feeder, there was a certain amount of consternation amongst the feathered visitors and both large and small birds hesitated for a few days over the arrangements. They're all perfectly happy now though and even brave enough once again to drink from the water feature. My main shot is of a young blue tit looking up from a drink and in extras a rather larger visitor who called later in the day.
The weather continues grey and it even rained briefly, so we've busied ourselves with more clearing and sorting. To date the rooms look worse than before we started!
