Flower Power Bike

Today's image was taken on in the grounds of Rochester Caster on another micro trip.
The bicycles decorated with flowers mysteriously started appearing around Kent from March this year under the cover of darkness.
An unknown artist has been displaying the bikes in various locations to try and send a message of positivity during the trying times of the pandemic.
The individual behind it wishes to remain anonymous to keep a sense of mystery alive. The designer has said they were inspired by the Dutch creator of "Flowerbikemann" who shared his floral creations on instagram.
The artist has said "after I respray the bike, I tie flower garlands end to end, wrap them around the framework as a base and then add flowers to make what you see, blooming fun", how this helped them through the first lockdown and kept them motivated and that they are also dedicated to the NHS for the tremendously hard work they have done during such strange and difficult times. Each bike has a tag attached to it inviting you to take an image and share it, which I am more than happy to do.
The artist has confirmed "it's all about creating smiles, that's it". It certainly worked for me! :-))
