The 7F
A trip to the tip this morning to get rid of a load of cardboard and an old clothes airer that had dried its last pair of knickers. On the way I called in to the station and was just in time to see the 7F No. 53809 running round its train, but just too late to get in position for the best shot. Good to see it was running after thinking it had failed yesterday but actually, I think there might have been a misunderstanding. I read this morning that what had failed was a Class 37 diesel that was celebrating 25 years in preservation. Anyway, this is it, built in Darlington in July 1925 and still going strong.
