Stretching to impress

It's been many weeks since I had a walk in Queens Park so this morning, before church, I joined the early morning dog walkers and joggers for a walk on the lower paths of the park.

My aim was to walk from the main gate to the pond and back in the short time I had. I lingered just a bit too long as I watched the swan preening her feathers. Her mate appeared to be doing absolutely nothing while sitting on the grass nearby.
