It was touch and go if we’d make it but in the end our hunger outweighed our tiredness, so we headed back into town for breakfast at the hotel with the gang.

I had some delicious pancakes with loads of berries and yoghurt, and it was really nice to have a debrief of wedding gossip and a critique of dance floor performances.

We picked up our bags from Wendy’s room and then wandered home, stopping to load up on snacks for our afternoon on the sofa.

This evening we’re both knackered, definitely an early night for us!
