A light
Another day that didn't really pan out how it should have done.... we really did get a bit relaxed and chilled yesterday evening.
We did make our 9.45am rendezvous chez hazelh and Mr hazelh, the plan being to pass them a couple of plants. A home grown fuchsia, and another pot of lilies. We came away with three wire coathangers (for some sort of plant support which we had been unable to source yesterday), a small bit of a sempervivum, and tummies full of scones and homemade (by T of Winsford fame) jam. It struck me as a perfect exchange!
After another trip to the supermarket, to source some more of the bedding plants we bought yesterday, we returned home via Anything and Everything to pick up more compost and a couple of new pots (well, a pot and a trough). Once the growing season is over, a few things are going to be moved around. I put the new plants in, and actually took a fair number of photographs of the balcony, but decided against blipping any of them when I got this phone photo of Newhaven light when I popped down to pick up fish and chips. We didn't make it to a book festival event for which we had tickets in mid afternoon. Oops.
